Fibrin in human tumors.
نویسندگان
چکیده
Sections of human tumors have been stained for fibrin deposits by the fluorescein label technic. Large clots of extravascular fibrin were demonstrated in most of the tumors tested. No such large clots were found in the several normal tissues investi gated. However, there was some staining of certain areas of connective tissue in both normal and tumor tissues. The fibrin deposition observed in the spontaneous human tumors was very similar to that of the several transplanted rat tumors. This observa tion of the presence of fibrin does not give information about the rate of fibrin depo sition.

Comparison of Fibrin and PLGA/fibrin Scaffolds for Chondrogenesis of Human Adipose Derived Stem Cells by Icariin
Background: Recently, cartilage tissue engineering is the best candidate for regeneration of cartilage defects. We evaluated the potential of fibrin and PLGA/fibrin scaffolds in providing a suitable environment for growth and chondrogenic differentiation of human adipose derived stem cells (hADSCs) in the presence of icariin. Method: The Three-dimensional...

متن کاملComparison of the efficacy of Piascledine and transforming growth factor β1 on chondrogenic differentiation of human adipose-derived stem cells in fibrin and fibrin-alginate scaffolds
Objective(s):The aim of this study was to compare the chondrogenic induction potential of Piascledine and TGF-β1 on adipose-derived stem cells (ADSCs) in fibrin and fibrin-alginate scaffolds. Materials and Methods: Human subcutaneous adipose tissues were harvested from three patients who were scheduled to undergo liposuction. Isolated ADSCs were proliferated in a culture medium. Then, the cell...
متن کاملAngiogenesis Following Three-Dimensional Culture of Isolated Human Endometrial Stromal Cells
Background Endometriosis is the presence of endometrial tissue outside of the uterine cavity and is the most common gynecologic disorder in women of reproductive age. We have preliminary evidence that in the presence of a 3-dimensional (3-D) fibrin matrix, human endometrial glands, stroma, and neovascularization can develop in vitro, mimicking the earliest stages of endometriosis. The aim of th...
